The Silk City

GARDEN STATE OPERA

Rebecca will be making her company debut with Garden State Opera as Mae Bornstein in the world premiere of The Silk City. The opera follows the story "of an impossible passionate love between an Irish weaver and the daughter of a Silk Mill owner in the`Silk City`of Paterson during the tumultuous times of the Silk Strike of 1913."

The world premiere of a new comic chamber by Felix Jarrar following the adventures of Leonora Goosling, the innkeeper of the Mother Goose Inn and Suites. She is renowned throughout the land of Happily Ever After for her tales, which have led her to become colloquially known as ‘Mother Goose’.
